Three Men in a Cave

Three Men in a Cave.

Sometimes I get visions of paintings in my head and they continue to surface repeatedly. The only way to get them to stop occupying my subconscious is manifest them in to reality. I hope now I will be able to sleep, dreaming of cave life is hard on the back. I believe this is a depiction of an age old man’s struggle with the competition of superiority, a prehistoric pissing contest if you will. Although this painting may suggest the winner as the man in the center who is portrayed above the others, the contest continues on every day of our lives.

  • Painted with acrylic on canvas, texture added with sawdust.
  • Measures 40 inches by 24 inches. It is gallery stretched on pine 1″X2″ and ready to hang.
